Meghan Pulles - Light After Loss
Meghan Pulles is a singer/songwriter originally from Florida who actually began her music career as a classically trained opera singer and theater actress, providing her with a distinctive skillset. According to her website, Pulles seeks to create uplifting music that provides her listeners with “a musical hug” to help make it through the dark. I am privileged to check out a wonderful track from Pulles titled “Light After Loss”, a single from the album Keep the Light On.
“Light After Loss” features a peaceful acoustic guitar that serves the track well; the chords serve as an excellent base for Pulles to sing over and a very subtle but emotive lead guitar melody accents Pulles’ vocals in a deeply endearing way. Light After Loss” features uplifting and reflecting lyrics whereupon Pulles reflects on someone she lost, remembering their positive contributions to her life and how that inspires her to move forward. Pulles’ singing voice manages to be both passionate and soothing, truly providing the “musical hug” mentioned in her website bio and I truly felt at peace while listening to this beautiful track.
“Light After Loss” is a very good introductory track that has a way of hooking you in and making you want to seek out more of Meghan Pulles’ excellently crafted music.
