Seven Crows - Two Swords

Seven Crows is an electric violin music project created by artist Chris Murphy. Murphy likens his music to that of a film score, providing a distinctively theatrical approach that is often hard to find in modern music, allowing his music to shine as something one of a kind. Today we take a listen to “Two Swords” from Seven Crows’ upcoming album Secrets Of Navigation - “Two Swords” is due out on September 18, 2020.

“Two Swords” is a brilliant string-driven instrumental song that presents the listener with a lot of unique appeal. The track gives off an overall looming kind of feeling, as if there is some kind of impending fight about to break out - perhaps the source of the track’s name - and its somewhat unsettling nature makes it extremely interesting to listen to. “Two Swords” is the kind of song that you will want to listen to multiple times as you build up a mental image of the emotions that the instruments are conveying.

We have previously covered Seven Crows before, listening to the title track from the upcoming album - “Secrets of Navigation” - and “Two Swords” stands as yet another excellent track from Seven Crows. The film score aesthetic truly suits the soundscape that Seven Crows develops in an extremely appealing way that you will definitely want to check out for yourself. You can learn more through Seven Crows’ website or through Instagram.
